Da Vinci style passwords

Posted by Staff in Security, Tip of the Week

In an age where there are thousands of passwords, combinations, pins, etc. to remember, it is hard to keep it all straight.

A good way to make them easy to find is save them as phone numbers in your mobile phone.

For example, your password for your online banking is 54236, save “Aunt Greenbucks 542-360-1111″ in your phone (0-1111 used purely as filler to make it look like a real number).

Only you will know Aunt Greenbucks is not a real Aunt and even if Robert Langdon from the Da Vinci code gets you phone, he won’t know what digits are real and which ones are just filler.

An easy but hard to crack way to hide passwords!
