Get your clean on!

Posted by Staff in Product Reviews

One of the best ways to not get sick when you travel is to wash your hands on a regular basis…..but when you are on the road, bathrooms are not always easy to come by.

Cue Jao…..the first “upscale” antibacterial that is an instant disinfectant and aromatherapy boost in one.

Jao kills germs and freshens hands with ethyl alcohol (less drying) and their very own blend of antiseptic essential oils: Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Geranium and Sage. Combined with cosmetic moisturizers and essential oils, Jao will not dry out your hands.

It’ll feel like you just washed with an herbal lavender soap.  Click here to get your clean on!

Be safe

Posted by Staff in Product Reviews

I never trust those hotel room safes. I’ve heard too many stories of people that have had stuff stolen from them.

So what can you trust?  How about your own, travel safe.  I came across this diversion safe that looks like an Aquafina water bottle.  The bottom of the bottle even has real water to throw even the sneakiest thief.

Just remember to pack it in your checked luggage, since it has water, it won’t pass security for carry-ons.

To get one go to security-wizard.net

Luggage obesity

Posted by Staff in Product Reviews

Does this scenario sound familiar to you: walking up to the check-in counter at the airport, your palms are sweating, you feel the anxiety creeping it’s way through your body….all because you know your suitcase is too heavy and you think it might be over the weight limit….and you are afraid the airline employee is going to charge you a fat fine….

Make “obese suitcase anxiety” disappear with this handy little gadget, the luggage scale.

All you do is place the hook onto the handle of your bag, and pick up the scale with the top handle.  Immediately you will be given the verdict on whether or not, you can really take 20 pairs of shoes on the trip.

The scale reads up to 75lbs and also includes a tape measure.  The scale is small (4″x3″x1.5″) and light, so you can take it with you….which is handy if you are a souvenir shopaholic.

The travel luggage scale is available at travel boutique en-day.com

Sleep easy

Posted by Staff in Product Reviews

The U-shaped travel pillow has been re-invented…..for the better.

The TravelRest is an ergonomically shaped travel pillow that works with the natural way you sleep in a chair…..if you can consider sleeping in a chair natural!

Unlike the U-shaped pillows that push your neck forward, the TravelRest lets you comfortably sleep with your head supported to the side.

I used the TravelRest on this past trip and found it to be the most comfortable travel pillow I have ever used. At first I thought it would be hard to blow up because of it’s size, but it was actually quite quick to inflate and easy to deflate upon landing.

The top of the pillow is secured to your seat with an attached cord and the smaller end loops and snaps onto your seatbelt….this way the pillow is securely in place and will not shift too much while you sleep.

For couples, one TravelRest can provide a pillow for two…..as my husband and I discovered.  Due to it’s upright positioning, we were able to place it between both are heads, lean in and fall fast asleep.

Once the flight is over, it rolls up easily and can snap to the top of your carry-on.

Get yours at TravelRest.net
