Galactic Suite
Space was the last frontier for man, now its the last frontier for tourism.
Galactic Suite is a space hotel that claims to be open for business by 2012.
For only 4 million dollars you will be whisked away to a tropical island for a touristic version of astronaut training that lasts a few weeks.
The experience culminates in a 3 night stay in the Galactic Suites which orbit the earth every 80 minutes.
The company is so confident on their launch date that they are already accepting reservations…..I wonder if orbitz.com will be offering any package deals?

Hermes Space Shuttle
The Hermes space shuttle is the brain child of Morris Jarvis, an Intel engineer. Jarvis touts the Hermes as “a space shuttle for everybody,” as his goal is to offer low cost flights into space.
Jarvis started the project in 1993 and built the full-sized prototype in his garage.
Now don’t get me wrong…..I love the idea of a guy building his dream rocket in his garage….but would you get in a garage-built plane and go to SPACE in it?

Massaud Manned Cloud
Ever dreamed of vacationing in the Goodyear blimp? Well don’t worry, your not the only one with that dream….turns out french designer Jean-Marie Massaud had an epiphany of a blimp-hotel. The Manned Cloud would be a 40 guest hotel cruising the sky and have the usual cruise amenities: restaurants, spa, library and gym. The hotel would be two stories with a sun deck on top of the double helium-filled envelopes….suntanning for the brave!
But don’t get too excited dear blimp lovers, this idea is still in it’s conceptual phase. For more information you can go to Massaud’s website then click on “design” then click on “transport”. It’s a beautiful idea to think that air travel one day won’t be about the destination but about the experience itself.
