The Vuzix iWear glasses work with almost all audio/video devices with video-out capabilities, and come with a built-in rechargeable battery that provides five hours of video entertainment.  The glasses are completely adjustable so each person can find a way to make them comfortable.  

Although the Vuzix comes with integrated speakers, they are not noise cancelling so it is hard to listen to your movie over the sound of a jet’s rumble.  If you are using them on a plane, the built-in speakers are removable and you can plug-in your own pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

For an innovative piece of technology, they are surprisingly simple to use.  Just plug them into your iPod or DVD player, press on…and suddenly you are in your own world of big screen video. Although they are fun and simple to use, I must say that I looked a little goofy wearing them…so a high level of self-confidence is needed in order to sport these Star-Trek-esque spectacles in public.
