The rolling green meadows lying just outside of Ponsavon in Xieng Khuang Province in Northern Laos  are home to hundreds of giant stone jars of various shapes and sizes, apparently carved from solid boulders. There are several stories surrounding the origins of these magnificent artifacts of history, known today as The Plain of Jars.

    It looks very beautiful. Its wonderful to know that the jars have been carved from stones. The people must be vary skilled. When were they created?
