Don’t drug Fifi
When flying with a small pet in the cabin, many people tell you to give them a sedative to calm them down.
But after doing some research I’ve found that to be nicht-nicht (as Bruno would say).
Turns out the most common sedative, Acepromazine, lowers your pet’s blood pressure and temperature, making it more difficult for them to deal with the elevation change….and this could lead to death!
So think twice if someone is trying to drug up your baby pre-flight……and yes that picture above is of my little princess, Manola.
